DigiGrad Workshop: Digitalization and Internationalization for Research and Postgraduate Training

ANIE is implementing the EU funded Internationalization and Digitalization of Graduate Training and Research for the attainment of Africas Regional and Global Development Goals (DigiGrad Africa Project). The project aims at enhancing quality and relevance of postgraduate training and research in African universities through the integration of internationalization and digitalization. A key component of this project is to support the participating African universities develop strategies for internationalization and digitalization and to build capacities of the institutions to manage internationalization activities.  This component in addition aims at training internationalization practitioners and developing a handbook to support them in managing internationalization activities in their institutions. Several activities have been undertaken in the implementation of this component of the project. The planned workshop to be held on 9th October 2024 in Ghana back-to-back with the ANIE conference will thus focus on training the internationalization practitioners and make steps made in the development and finalization of the handbook. It brings together participants from the participating African institutions (Laweh Open University; University of Cape Coast; Bujumbura International University; University of Burundi; University of Juba and Upper Nile University), the European partners (University of Maastricht; UC Leuven-Limburg; Sapienza University and University of Extramadura. ) and OBREAL global which is a co-coordinator of the project with ANIE.

The workshop will be facilitated by
