ADEA
The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) is first and foremost a forum for policy dialogue. It acts as a catalyst for reforms and promising policies and practices through the pooling of ideas, experience, lessons learned and knowledge.
African Virtual University
The African Virtual University (AVU) is a Pan African Intergovernmental Organization established by charter with the mandate of significantly increasing access to quality higher education and training through the innovative use of information communication technologies.
Association of African Universities
The decision to create the AAU was taken at a meeting of Heads of African Institutions of Higher Education held for this purpose at the University of Khartoum, Sudan in September 1963.
CODESRIA
The Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) is headquartered in Dakar, Senegal. It was established in 1973 as an independent pan-African research organisation primarily focusing on social sciences research in Africa.
IEASA
The post-apartheid era provided South African Universities and Technikons the opportunity to further enhance existing international relations, or to establish new relationships, towards promoting education in South Africa in the context of internationalization of higher education.
Ministry of Education – Kenya
The Ministry of Education derives its mandate from the Constitution of Kenya, Chapter Four Articles 43, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, and 59 have provisions on children’s right to free and compulsory basic education, including quality services, and to access education institutions and facilities

SARUA
The Southern African Regional Universities Association (SARUA) is a membership-based association of Vice-Chancellors of public and private universities in the Southern African Development Community (SADC). SARUA enables collaborative partnerships that develop the institutional and human capacity
The Inter-University Council for East Africa
In East Africa regional higher education interactions and cooperation originates from the pre-independence era when Makerere University College was the only higher education institution in the region serving students from Kenya, the then Tanganyika, and Zanzibar in East Africa
