ANIE Takes Lead in Monitoring & Evaluation at IMPACT HE Kick-Off Meeting in Barcelona
ANIE is currently participating in the IMPACT HE Kick-Off Meeting in Barcelona, Spain, with Executive Director, @Prof. Kefa Simwa representing the network. The 3 day event from February 24-26, 2025, is being held at the Universitat de Barcelona. It brings together partners from Africa and Europe under the @Erasmus+ Capacity Building for Higher Education initiative.
About IMPACT HE
IMPACT HE is a structural project under Erasmus+ Capacity Building for Higher Education, aimed at strengthening African universities as local development agents. It focuses on enhancing institutional capacity, improving international cooperation, and aligning Africa-EU partnerships to drive sustainable development. The project is being piloted in Kenya and Ethiopia, with a broader goal of influencing policy and fostering long-term growth in higher education.
ANIE’s Key Contributions:
– Leading the development of the Quality Monitoring Plan & Risk Managemeynt Strategy
– Strengthening internal project monitoring mechanisms in African universities
– Supporting the strategic alignment of Africa-EU higher education partnerships
